A Psalm by Brittany Sheppard – April 24, 2021

Statement of Faith

We believe that God created man and that He created them male and female. As such He created them different so as to complement and complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. Therefore, we perform and mentor marriages in accordance with Biblical guidelines. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; John 4:16-18; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 5:11, 6:9-11. 6:18-20, 7:1-3 and 7:8-9; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3-7; 1 Timothy 1:9-11)

A Psalm to Jesus

By Brittany Sheppard

When I thought I was doing all the right things and following all the rules and therefore following You,

You came and rescued me and set my feet on a different path.

Now I know that You just want me and my heart.

I will sing of your unending love for me.

When I get angry at my kids for not listening,

You gently remind me to listen to Your words.

They bring life to my weary and tired soul.

I thank You Lord for your steadfast love for me.

When I am at my whits end and feel so very inadequate,

I know that in You I find wisdom and I can rest in knowing that You are where my help comes from.

I will remember your patient and steadfast love for me.

When I get caught up in the everyday demands of being a mom and wife,

I will sing of your grace and mercy and steadfast love for me.

I will rejoice because You have rescued my life.

You have given me all that I need.

I will sing of your steadfast love forever.
