A Personal Psalm of My Attempt to Find Sabbath Rest in the Day to Day Busyness of My Life
By Anonymous
The busyness of my days, have been like cicadas abuzz on warm summer nights that rob me of the still quiet that I long for and for which You now call me into.
I imagine Your voice as a soft breeze against my cheek and I hear your whisper.
I pause and will myself to turn to You and once there, breathe in Your essence.
You say my name, I shake off the thoughts of the day which like pieces of cobwebs that have no true spatial design nor value, dissipate with a breeze.
And then muster up boundaries like walls to push out all distractions. Creating a courtyard where I lean in and there I find You waiting.
