Kids & Parents Following Jesus TOGETHER!

2026–2027 Season | August 13, 2026 – April 29, 2027

Growing in God’s Story Together

What if your family had a simple, joyful rhythm for growing in Jesus together around the Scriptures?

The Biggest Story is Believers Church’s family discipleship journey for PreK–4th grade children and their parents. Together, parents and the church cultivate simple, joyful rhythms that help children—and the adults who love them—grow near and like Jesus.

Rather than adding another activity to your calendar, The Biggest Story helps your family build a sustainable rhythm of discipleship through weekly gatherings at church and practical moments at home.

Help the Next Generation Follow Jesus

The Biggest Story exists because ordinary people faithfully invest in children and families.

Whether you love welcoming guests, preparing meals, leading games, reading Bible stories, building relationships with kids, or serving behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.

You don’t have to be a Bible expert—you simply need a heart to love children and encourage families as they grow in Christ.

Why We Use The Biggest Story Bible Storybook

At the heart of our journey is The Biggest Story Bible Storybook by Kevin DeYoung. We chose this resource because it doesn’t simply tell individual Bible stories—it helps families discover one unified story of God’s redeeming love from Genesis to Revelation.

Unlike many children’s story Bibles that focus on a handful of familiar stories, The Biggest Story thoughtfully walks through the entire storyline of Scripture, giving balanced attention to both the Old and New Testaments. Along the way, children learn how the Bible is organized, how each book fits into God’s grand story, and how every story ultimately points to Jesus and the good news of the Gospel.

Its beautiful illustrations, faithful retelling of Scripture, and engaging writing make it enjoyable for both children and adults to read together. Families can also take advantage of free companion videos and podcasts that enrich each week’s journey.

We believe it’s one of the best resources available for helping children not just know Bible stories, but understand God’s Biggest Story.
