Weekly Rhythms

What we do:

    • If you’re scheduled that week, we email you a Schedule Reminder Email and Lesson Overview Email. This information is also in Services.

What you do:

    • Review the weekly schedule and confirm in Services if you haven’t already.
    • If needed, you coordinate a sub or swap with another teacher. If you can’t find a sub or replacement, please let Zack/Holly know so we can help you find someone.
    • Read through the lesson plan before Sunday.
    • Be Sensitive to Everyone’s Schedule: Most of our volunteers do not have the capacity to serve beyond their commitment. Because of this, it’s challenging to adjust schedules, especially last minute, to make changes. We ask that you proactively check your email, communicate needs, and prioritize your scheduled BC Kids time so BC Kids as a whole can best accommodate last minute unavailability due to illness and emergency.
    • Oh no! Last minute unavailability due to illness/emergency…We want you and our families to be well. If you are experiencing flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms or any other illness, contact Zack/Holly ASAP and stay home to rest. We’ll coordinate a sub so you don’t need to stress.
